Fragments of a Place
Surface / Memory
My work considers how places hold memory — through surfaces, materials and objects altered by time. I use painting and installation to explore what remains when the original context disappears.
Biography
Elena Vale is a Norwegian visual artist based in Oslo. Her practice spans painting, sculpture and site-specific installation. Her work has been exhibited throughout Scandinavia and Europe.
